The PROKOR is a customer specific programmable protcol converter, which performs the desired adaption between the protocols at port 1 and port 2.
These two interfaces handle the desired protocols independently of each other.
The user has access to the protocol data cleared information for ongoing processing before they will be adapted to the installed protocol at the port 2.
Examples of use:
- Adaption from ASCII to EBCDIC, BSC or SNA
- Elimination of system statements like "VM READ", "RUNNING", etc.
- dynamic switching between 3270 emulation and filetransfer
- password protected dynamic re-call of a phone number within a dialing application

- IBM:BSC 2780, 3780, 3740, SNA / SDLC 3770, 3270, IBM Coax A, Twinax AS/400
- Siemens: 3964R, LSV2, LSV1, MSV2, MSV1, HDLC
- Asynchron: ASCII, Baudot, EBCDIC or each individual code
