The gateway IRENE is the solution if you want to connect different data worlds with different data transmission protocols together. These protocols may be: ASCII asynchron, MSV, BSC, SNA, SDLC, TN3270 E, TCP/IP, X.25, SVP or PVC, ISDN with modem operation, V.110 or X.31 at B- or D-channel, HTML or what ever.

The Linux-based, for data transmission optimized, multitasking operation system IMOS is running on the gateway IRENE, which is designed for high performance. Operating for example in the payment authorisation business, up to 90.000 transaction per hour are realizeable. Particulary helpfull is the PPP-access via telnet in to the gateway IRENE. The failures, which may appear during work, can be localized and analyzed via remote. A field service engineer shall be more seldom at your location. Your gateways will be up to work again faster.

For standard operating a web management has been implemented in the gateway IRENE, check of status or changes of parameters can be made easy and comfortable.
